Work in Progress...
I have been cleaning and organizing my cabinet in my office. I am pleased with how it is turning out and I still have some more to do. I purchased the white boxes at IKEA and they were very inexpensive. They are working out great for storing sewing supplies, scrap booking supplies and misc. things. I have put all of my fabric in containers in the closet!

Organizing the Kitchen Pantry
BEFORE
AFTER
I like to keep similar items in these orange baskets. They keep everything contained for easy access and they are so cute to look at when I open my pantry door. Who say's your pantry can't be cute!
I like to keep most of my mixing bowls and serving pieces on the bottom shelf for easy access. Also, by keeping syrup and oils in a container it keeps your shelf from getting sticky or oily!
I realized I don't need any more salt. That is one great thing about organizing, you see what you already have so you don't buy duplicates. This can apply anywhere, not just in the kitchen.
Keeping my knives on the next to top shelf keep little hands from reaching them.
I keep all of my appliances on the top shelf so they are easy to get to but not in the way!
I have 5 lazy susan's that I LOVE! I bought them at IKEA for $7 each and they are so handy and save so much space. They also make finding your items so much easier. Lazy susan's can also be used in so many different areas in the house!
Tucker keeping me company!
Well, it was time for me to clean out and re-organize my pantry. I like to do this about every 3 months. I have found that things get moved around and out of there "place" quite quickly. By staying on top of keeping it organized, it will not get totally out of control. Here are a few before and after pictures from this morning.

Career Day 1st grade - Lego Designer
Ty wanted to be a Lego Designer for Career Day at his school. He is totally into Lego's right now and he loves putting them together and learning about them. I put together his fake business card and Kris made him a badge. He looked so cute however, I don't know what is up with that smile. HA! Kris found his "Lego designer" shirt at Goodwill for $2.

Capital Area Food Bank
We attend a care group on Sunday evenings with other couples from our church. This morning our care group met up at the south Austin location of the Capital Area Food Bank. We sorted frozen foods to be taken to their different distribution locations. It was a great time and I felt so good after knowing that I had done something to help someone else.

New Kicks
Picked these Converse sneakers up yesterday at Target for 75% off. They set me back a whopping $7. They have a fabulously simple sparkle to them and they will go with just about anything! I love that store! You may also remember this post on another pair of shoes I picked up there!
Oh Maddy...
I love you so much! This is her 3 month picture taken by Tanya with Cozy Impressions Photography! Tanya does such an amazing job and is so talented! I still can't believe I have a niece!!!
