Nesting

Well, I thought that nesting was only for pregnant women. Boy was I wrong! I am two weeks away from my surgery and you would think I was having another baby. At least that is what Kris said. I have been going non-stop and feel like I have so much more to do. To name a few, I have cleaned the freezer and fridge, shredded all paperwork from 08 and cleaned out my dresser and closet. That does not come close to finishing my list of "to do's." I am shocked that having surgery could make me "nest" like I am. My doctor said that I would be out of commission for 6-8 weeks so I guess surgery is kind of like having another baby. However, one big difference is I will get to sleep a lot!!! YEA!!

Shredtastic

I encourage each of my clients to purchase a shredder if they don't already own one. It is worth it to protect your identity. Anything with important info on it must be shredded!

Peculiar Sayings

Amy, Jon, mom, dad and I were sitting around jawin' on Christmas Day evening when we decided to have a little fun and make a list of peculiar sayings. Below are a few that we came up with. We have had so much fun!!! If you have any other sayings we would love to hear them. Please add them to the comment section.

"They roll up the sidewalks at 5 o'clock."
"That tastes so good it would make a jackrabbit slap a bulldog."
"That tastes so good it would make you slap your mother-n-law."
"Cold jawed the bit and ran off."
"We're burning daylight."
"For crying in the dishpan."
"For the love of Pete."
"You made enough for Cox's army."
"If I felt any better I'd be twins."
"There's frost on the pumpkin."
"That's a blue norther coming in."
"This is how we roll." (Jon use to say this when he lived in Philly!)
"Give me your paw." (Jon claims this is what they say up north when they want a dog to shake.)
"YO, let's go get a hoagie." (ie. a sandwich)
"Urp, slop, bring the mop, hasen Jason with the basin." (Said when someone burp's)
"If if's and but's were candy and nut's we'd all have a Merry Christmas."
"Tis best to burp and be in shame then not to burp and be in pain."
"It's slicker than a minn'rs peter."
"It's colder than a witches tit in a brass brassiere."
"Tuff titty said the kitty when the milk ran dry." MEOW!
"It's colder than a well diggers butt in the Klondike."
"We are two pea's in a pod."

Cheers

May you and yours have a Merry Christmas!!! Now go enjoy a glass of Veuve Cliquot! ~Cheers~

Life Saver

I have been doing quite a bit of labeling today at home. I thought I would share with you one of my favorite products. The DYMO LetraTag is fantastic and I could not live without it. They are very reasonably priced and can be so helpful when organizing different items around your home or office.
