This would be such an easy look to re-create in your own entry. I love the simple use of the shelf instead of having a larger piece of furniture. I also like how this keeps everything up off the floor.

Oh So Little...

but oh so cute. I made this succulent garden a couple of day's ago. I love succulents because they are so easy to take care of. They are great for any room in your house. I purchased 5 of the 7 containers on this tray from Goodwill for $1 each. You can really use any small container that you have to put the succulent in. By the way, do you see the owl peeking through on the tray?

Jam Anyone?

I had a blast today at Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls, TX. I had never picked strawberries before and it was so fun! I loved getting down on my hands and knees and picking the berries myself. I also loved watching Ty have so much fun cutting the berries and smashing them. I will definitely be doing this again next season! Now all I need are some cute labels from Etsy! Guess I will be shopping tomorrow. So, have any of you ever picked any berries and made jam?

By the way, these pictures were taken with our family Canon EOS Digital Rebel. Much better than my little Canon Power Shot that I use for taking pictures for work.

Oh my Goodness!!! I love this chair! The charcoal gray color is so fresh and I love the lines of the chair. I am not sure if I would leave the upholstery or change the fabric. I would definitely keep the tufting as is! I would love to add this one to my collection. Beautiful!

Gorgeous Garages

As many of you know, I can be quite obsessive compulsive especially when it comes to organizing and my spaces in my house. Today, Kris and I worked out in our garage. He helped so much and I am glad that he does not mind helping me out. Who knew having kids would bring along so much "stuff". I probably have 10 containers of baby clothes and gadgets from when Ty was a baby and from Tucker. It will be nice to get rid of it all and donate it to someone who will use it when the boys get older. I love the garages in the pictures and how clean they are. I do feel that our garage is an extension of our house. I would love to one day paint the floor and possibly have some built in cabinets.

Due to the wonderful rain that we need so bad, I will be picking strawberries next week!

Tomorrow, I am going to Sweetberry Farms in Marble Falls to pick strawberries. I am completely looking forward to making jam with my goodies. I am thinking I may have to order these jars. I love the way they are very simple, yet modern looking. I have not yet decided on the recipe that I am going to use. I might use this one from Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa) and Food Network.
