Pure Joy!
I see pictures of my 2 T's and it brings tears to my eyes. I never new "pure joy" until I was blessed to be their mommy. It makes me so happy to share them with my parents Honey and Grandad. I thank God every day for blessing me with these two perfect little people!

Happy Earth Day!
Send a geoGreeting to someone you know. This site lets you type any message and it finds each letter from a photo taken from space. The photos are taken of different buildings around the world! What a Fabulous Idea!

It's Kris' Fault!
Well, I guess this is what happens when I finally listen to my husband. Kris is a computer "genius" (esp. at web design and development) and is always trying to get me to try new things. I have given in finally, with a lot of reluctance, and this is the result. I have now become addicted to two web based photo editing tools. The two I like are Picnik and Adobe Photoshop Express. You can play around with your photos and change them up in so many fun and beautiful ways. It is so fun and I am spending way to much time "playing around".

Lovely Yucca
Sunrise and Sweet Purrs
On Saturday Ty helped me with our garage sale. We had fun eating powdered sugar doughnuts and drinking hot chocolate. Checkers also liked the doughnuts. I'm not sure if cats can eat doughnuts, but he sure loved them. Checkers is in love with Ty and they are so cute together. I love hearing him purr. It makes me smile! Our garage sale was successful, however, I am so glad it's over.
2008 Bun Run
Amy and I had such a fantastic morning. It was a perfect day for a 5K. It was beautiful outside and we had so much fun visiting. This first picture is of us before the race. Austin is such a unique and gorgeous city. I absolutely love living here! I would not want to cross the finish line with anyone else. We hope to do at least for more 5K's this spring and early summer.

"Big Spider"
Well, I said at book club on Thursday night that I would post this picture. And here it is in all his creepy, hairy glory. We had so much fun visiting and we talked about so many things. We actually even talked about the book! Yea! Now, back to the "big spider" that I mentioned earlier. He was right outside my garage about 2 years ago. I had no idea that tarantula's are native to this area or that they hissed when you touch them. No,I didn't touch it with my hand but with a broom. I am so glad to say that I have never seen another one. But, now that I just typed that I will see one tomorrow. HA! Hopefully not during my garage sale!

Yak Time!
Kris went down to the coast this weekend to fish. He had a great trip and got a "Texas Slam" which means he caught a trout, flounder and red fish. He was psyched to have a great trip! He got back yesterday and Ty had so much fun playing in his kayak. It was very dirty and muddy so Kris spent most of the afternoon cleaning it and Ty spent most of the afternoon playing in the water. We are so excited that the weather is warming up and we can start playing outside. We are a family who loves to be out and about and we are ready for the heat and sun!

Round Top Extravaganza!
My mom and I are off to Round Top tomorrow to shop. I am so excited because I have never been and have heard so many good things. I will post when we get home with pictures of my purchases. I am hoping for some great finds. Amy is keeping the boys all weekend and Kris is fishing so I am on my own. Yea!! I am ready for a little free time and relaxation.

Memories!
Seeing this picture of Ty and his Grandad in Boerne brings back so many memories for me. When I was a little girl I use to hook up that old wagon that Ty is sitting in to my Big Wheel. I would put all different things in the wagon including our little miniature daschund Gretchen. It makes me so happy to see Ty enjoying the wagon as much as I did. He also wanted to pull something behind it. Like mother, like son!
