Tuna

Today when Tucker, Ty and I got home there was a sweet kitty at our door. The boy's love cat's so they were so excited to have a new friend. I opened the front door and Tuna came right on in the house like he/she lived here. I was concerned that it might pee everywhere so I got he/she out pretty quickly but the boys that it was so funny to have a cat in the house. He/she was very sweet and it did not seem to want to leave. I totally cracked up at his or her name, Tuna!!! By the way, cat's are freaky!

These little pouches are so cute! I could definitely use one for Tucker when we go out to dinner. Anything to keep him entertained!!! I may have to try to make one of these.

Crepe Myrtle Love

I love my two huge gorgeous crepe myrtle's in the backyard. I have been making flower arrangements using the big beautiful blooms. I love the pinkish, raspberry color! They really make a statement. And, I love the fact that they are FREE!!! Also, check out Young House Love, one of my favorite blogs, and look at their post on using crepe myrtle's for arrangements!

Nuggets Anyone?

1st Grade

Ty started 1st grade today and he is so excited. His teachers name is Amy Larson and she seems like a real sweetie. I am sad to see the summer over but glad to be moving on to this next chapter in our life! Hope you all have had a great day if you have had kids back in school!!!

Linus

This week we have been in Boerne at Honey and Grand-dad's and have been having a blast. Ty starts school next week so we are enjoying this time together. Linus is Ty and Tucker's pony and he is so sweet with them!!! Also, why is it that little boy's love dirt so much?!

Friends and Tucker

Ty had a friend over this morning and they had a blast playing. A little bit of Star Wars, playing with cars, eating lunch and popsicles and riding bikes, skateboards, and scooters. It was a busy and fun morning. There are also a couple of Tucker because he is just too adorable!!!

For the love of Lego's

Ty loves working on all of his Lego's! I love how he uses his imagination and can either create using the directions or totally go out on his own!!!

I picked these chairs up with a table and hutch a couple of weeks ago. I wanted to give a little sneak peak of the chair re-upholstered. I will post a picture of all of them together when I get finished. I love the fabric and it was only $4 a yd! Woo! Woo!

Treatmentless Window

The window in my office/sewing room has been without a treatment for a while. I am trying to decide what I want to do! I really like this treatment and how you can see quite a bit of the fabric!!!

Floatin' and Dancin'

On Saturday Kris and I floated the Comal River. We had so much fun! I have never seen so many tattoos in my life! Ha!!! After floating the river we went to see the Randy Rogers Band at Nutty Brown Cafe. I had never heard of them but they were very good. They sing a great song, Kiss Me In The Dark. We had a great time dancing and being together the whole weekend!
